Thank you all for entering our contest. We were overwhelmed by the immense response to help us create a line of benefit teas for Lipton. Getting 163 entries from 37 countries far exceeded our expectations. Your energy, passion and great insights are much appreciated. Your creativity in pack designs, tea delivery systems, naming, ingredients and tea blends were quite impressive. We were also blown away by the immense knowledge that you have all acquired about functional herbs, roots and plants. You certainly did your homework!
There were so many great ideas that it made it extremely difficult for us to narrow down to just three winners. In the end, however, the ideas that stood out most for us were the ones that put the consumer front and center, offered a true insight into our millennial consumers’ lives and provided real solutions that we feel will have broad marketplace appeal. Thanks again for taking the time to share your ideas. Good luck in your future brainstorms!

Congratulations on your first place entry! This is overall a very well thought out idea and we love how you addressed our millennial consumers’ daily pressures and how it affects their lives and well-being. We especially liked the imagery surrounding the Solace name and feel it perfectly captures the need space without sounding too low energy. The “words of wisdom” on the tea tag are also quite inspiring and something the brand has been toying with for a while. Nice job!

Congratulations on your second place entry! This idea taps into a very large and growing consumer health issues around digestion. The benefits are quite simple and clear and probiotics are quite available, so delivering the benefit in your daily cup of tea makes a lot of sense. The product format was well thought out with separate pouches to keep the products fresh until use, and the kefir milk is a nice delivery system for the probiotic which will produce an enjoyable creamy tea experience. We also loved the word play in the name. Well done!

The product development was also well thought out with taste and aroma descriptions.
