CONTEXT

Let me introduce you to Jay: he is 28 years old, lives in a big city and is currently single - by choice. He is ambitious, loves the digital world, and connecting with his friends. He is always in touch with them on Facebook, his smartphone or his iPad and meets them in real life as often as possible. He loves to be the one who introduces them to the latest trends, whether it is tech-related or the latest bars to drink in.

When Jay spends time with his friends, they may start with a beer or cider, then there's often that moment when they're looking to build-up the night and have a drink that is a bit more special. Typically Jay will be tempted to shift from his usual beer or cider to a more special, experience-based drink like a cocktail, spirit, mixed drink , or Prosecco...

BRIEF

Through text, photos, powerpoint presentations, collages, or videos, invent a new beer or a new cider drink that Jay would want to recommend to his friends at that special moment, when they are looking for something more than their ordinary beer or cider. Something a bit more special that suits those special occasions on a weekly night out or a house party. Your new drink will help Jay and his friends share the good time together, spread the positive energy and standout from the crowd and from the ordinary.

Consider the drink itself, what's inside, its packaging and/or serving system, its name, and if it works with your idea, some clever ways to make the experience more social or more unique.

Winning Criteria

The most innovative, creative and relevant ideas will be awarded.

GUIDELINES

Please answer to these questions in your media description:

Imagine that your product idea actually were available commercially for Jay to order at a bar.
1. Why would Jay order your product in a high energy situation?
2. What would Jay like this drink to convey about himself, as he orders it among friends?
3. What does your product idea bring to the premium beer/cider scene that you feel has been missing until now?

More guidelines:

• Keep a high definition / uncompressed version of your creation
• Your entry must include at least the drink's name, composition, packagin/serving system
• Videos/animations should be 60 seconds maximum
• Use images/music that are free of rights

PRIZE: a total of 10 000 €!

• 1st Prize: 3 000 €
• 2nd Prize: 1 500 €
• 3rd Prize: 1 000 €
• 2 Prizes of 750 € each
• 10 Prizes 300 € each
